HI I am new to this forum. Grin

I was wondering if anybody could help me with the surname Ledsham from the Great Boughton area of Chester.
I am trying to find details of the birth/baptism of James Ledsham.  I have him in the census returns no problem but his birth dates seems to change drastically from census to census (same children and wife so it is the same guy!!) I am trying to connect him with a John Ledsham baptised 1791.

Can anyone help?

I do not know if it is too far removed but a James Ledsham was born in Wallasey in 1849 according to the Cheshire BMD site

All of them seem to be in the Chester area, are you aware of these ?
