Help Ancestors have vanished
« on: Tuesday 30 January 07 22:01 GMT (UK) »

Hi i was hoping by magic that some one could help me with what has happened to two of my Ancestors.
First Alfred Bowden born abt 1855 Sherbourne Dorset i know his where abouts up to the 1881 Census for 39 Paris street St Sidwell Exeter where hes living with his wife Fanny Bowden  born Bideford Devon Formly a ( Burden) and His 5 month old daughter Fanny E bowden Born Bideford Devon.

That is the last trace of them.

I can find their Child Fanny also known as Amy in the census records up to 1901.
She is living with her grandparents in 1891 Henry and Betsy burden but her parents are no where to be seen.

How can they just vanish?

I have not been able to find any death records for them either.
Alfred was age just 26 in the 1881 census and his wife Fanny was just 22 they married between July - Sep 1880 in the district of Bideford Devon.

I thought maybe perhaps they had moved to Sherbourne!
or that Fanny might have remarried and took on another Surname but not being able to find either of them is just weird and Frustrating.

But no matter how much research i have done i can find no trail.
Please some one put me out of my misery!
