I  would appreciate some assistance in finding a shipping record for
Charles Jones born Herefordshire who came to Australia before 1847.

Possibly born 1820's

No other details known on parents or where from exactly in Hereforshire

A couple of questions.

What happened in1847 to make you say he arrived in Aust. before that year?

Do you have some evidence that NSW was his first destination?

His son James Jones was born in 1847 at Jacqua Argyle NSW (Bungonia)

That is from the parish records

Charles married in 1848 in Victoria so dont know how long he was in Jacqua
