can we spare a thought today for the late great Freddie Murcury ,passed away 13years ago today
Elvis maybe your King Graceland but Freddie was certainly  the greatest Queen Smiley

He was great ... I loved watching him and Queen...love their music ... some singers have voices that are instantly recognisable, Freddie's is one of them.  He was a great entertainer, sadly missed.

13 years ago today! Blimey I didn't think it was that long ago! Well I had my walkman and headphones on and traveling on a bus to College when I heard the news of Freddie's passing  Cry Can you remember where you were when you heard of his death?

Queen and Freddie in particular were awesome Joe.

Saw them live in 1985 in front of 100,000 on their "Kind of Magic" tour - superb.

i agree with you all , freddie, and queen, were the best, and elvis was the greatist, and by the way, have we done a {can you remember where you were when}JFK, Moonlandings, Twin Towers, ect, on roots chat yet, if we did i mist it.  regards. nora T

One of the great sadnesses in my life is that i never saw them live.My best mate was in the army and saw them 3 times in Germany while he was stationed there and even went to South Africa on holiday because it was another stage of a tour.Freddie was one of those people you just cant replace.
I must confess though my passion is BonJovi .Ive never been abroad but ive travelled this country far and wide to see them.
