Hello,
I am wondering if anyone could find this family in Brighton or area in 1891?
Charles Fleetwood born Fulham should be about 47 years old
Jane or Martha Fleetwood born Fivehead Somerset should be about 50 years old
Emily Fleetwood born Brighton about 16 years old
Charles S. Fleetwood born Brighton about 12 years old
Arthur Herbert Fleetwood born Brighton about 10 years old
Eustace Lionel Fleetwood born Brighton about 4 years old
Charles, Jane, Emily, and Charles S are listed in the 1881 census as follows

Wow that was fast
some stories have it that Arthur and Eustace were the sons of Charles and Jane and other stories said their parents were Eustace Charles and Alice. Both families are listed in the 1881 census (before both boys were born) but Charles and Jane lived in Brighton which is why I was leaning that way. Thank you for clearing up this mystery.
Arthur ended up in Canada in 1902 and no one knows what happened to Eustace Lionel and the parents. Is there a 1901 census that might track the family down?

She has become slightly younger - don't blame her but this does look like the family. There is an Ethel right age and birthplace and a Lionel born in Brighton

Hi Tricia,
Thank you so much - that explains why no one was ever able to find Lionel Fleetwood or Eustace Fleetwood - he changed his name when his mother married again. I will certainly check on the marriage certificate.
