Thorncombe marriage?

I am looking for a marriage between William Hoare and Love? From census information it looks like the marriage was 1837 ish - it does not appear on the FBMD site. Although the family lived in Chard the wife (Love) was born Thorncombe 1816 so am wondering if they married there.
I would very much appreciate help from anyone who has access to the PRs

Free BMD is incomplete. Have you checked the full GRO index?

Choose “Complete BMD Index Ranges & Images 1837-1983

Both the 1841 and 1851 show their surname as HOUSE so it may be worth checking under that surname as well

many thanks for your reply and info. I have checked Ancestry but no luck. I feel they may have married pre civil registration hence my request for PR lookup. I've also tried the OPC but Thorncombe offers only extend to the census which I now have. I will howver try a general search on their site for Hoars (if you pardon the expression!!!)

Carole's point about the 1841 & 1851 census showing the name as House, is not quite correct, it is only the index that has them mistranscribed as House, the image shows them correctly as HOARE.

You may like to try contacting the Somerset and Dorset family History Society for a search of their pre registration marriage index, you will find the contact details on their website.
