From the IGI I have -
Martha James chr. 16/08/1795 Caverswall, Parents - William James and Ann
The only suitable marriage I can find is -
William James and Ann Salt 08/07/1794 Caverswall
and the most suitable christening for William -
21/12/1769 Caverswall, Parents - Lorinzo James and Mary
Can anyone with access to the parish records, check these out to see if there are any other details/ and other possible candidates? Also I can't find a marriage for Lorinzo/Laurenzo/Lorenzo (name varies on various children's christenings from same time period) and Mary

just Google "Caverswall" the first page up will be their Parish page ,full of info on Caverswall people and history,you may find something...Oonagh.

Thanks for that, I've had a look and doesn't seem to be much on my families, although I have just been contacted by a cousin on that side of the family and "James" might not be the family I am looking for after all, will have to send off for some certificates to confirm I think
