Lookup Death Notice Auckland 1946 **Completed**

Hi to all listers,

Is there some kind person who could look up a death notice for me in whatever newspaper was operating in Auckland at the time.

Details are:  Amelia Frances Scott (formerly Godden nee Bryant)  widow of Robert Scott and Sidney Godden.  Died in Auckland 10 September, 1946 aged 82 years.  She was buried the next day.

Particularly seeking information re children or step-children.

Hi Zephyr,

That would be great, no hurry.  I am still working on Sidney Herbert Godden Jnr who died the following year.  He could just be the son of Sidney who drowned in 1893 as he was born 1894 after the father died.  He is buried in the same cemetery in Auckland as Amelia Scott (formerly Godden) who I am assuming is his mother.  She died at aged 82 and he was only 51 as you know from the probate lookup.  His father was an ex soldier and it seems Sid Jnr is too although I presume it was NZ Army rather than British.

Are there any lookups I can do for you in Oz to repay your kindness in doing these lookups for me?
