JAMES ABBOTT BEAUCHAMPS c 1808
« on: Sunday 06 May 07 07:43 BST (UK) »

According to the 1881 census James Thomas Abbot was born in Beauchamps Somerset.

Is there any way to check parish records of this town to try and find out who his paretns were?

If it is of any help his eldest son was names William and his first two daughters were Ann and Emma.

regards

I think thats probably Shepton Beauchamp - altho in the 1851 Census he quotes Hatch Beachamp.

I did find a link to some transcripts - but they are not early enough.

Doubtless others on here will know more.
