Kent Parish Records.

Hi, does anyone know where I may purchase any Kent parish records on c.d. I am interested in the area of Cranbrook and Hawkhurst at the moment but there could be lots more later.I already have volumes one and two for Kent parish records from S & N. but this does not carry the two areas that I need at the moment. infact there is not much on that c.d. in the way of areas at all, and I know that Kent covers a large area. was wondering if there was a family history centre that would sell them.

Have you tried Kent Family History Society? their web site is www.kfhs.org.uk/

Have just looked and they have Cranbrook on C.D 12- Parish Records Vol 3 and Hawkhurst on C.D 16 Vol 4 they are £17 each to non members hope this is some help

In an earlier message I advised you that you could find the Hawkhurst Parish records on the Medway Online website.

I see that it has since been pointed out, quite correctly, that the Medway Online Records do not, in fact, cover Hawkhurst.  My sincere apologies for this error.  You will therefore need to follow my alternative suggstion and obtain the CD from the Kent Family History Society.
