   Hello all....

  Trying to solve a little problem with a branch I have ..too many names the same I am afraid... Huh

  Looking for  John Tearle b @1839 Stanbridge /Eaton Bray area
                    Nathaniel Tearle b @1839 same as above.

 I have both in 1881 but both births show on same index...vol 6 page 96 Luton.

 I am trying to establish their parents please.

Hi Tazzie

The birth for John Tearle 1839 Luton,
on freebmd there's also a death same Quarter 1839

Ive looked on 1841 and found Nathaniel in Eaton Brays
and also a John in Stanbridge.

Let me know if you'd like the details.

  Hi Alison...

  The death could be him...Do either of the others have an Elizabeth as mother?

  His baptism states John son of Elizabeth no father mentioned. They are all Methodists by baptism so this is unusual for them if an unmarried mum.

Back to another John..I think I can now account for him but will have to check the full tree...all 102 pages..

The death fits in with prehaps the boys being twins. The baptism is strange unless she married soon afterwards and they are listed under married name...will look at GRO  to see what come sup.
