Three Brothers Knight out on the road...almost!

Hi there...
Oh dear... a daughter without internet access in her room has nightmare potential and needs sorting fast!
Did it used to work and now it doesn't?
Or has it never worked?
If it has never worked...have you set the computer (ie the actual one in her room) up for wifi? You have to do each one in the house individually and put in special codes.
Do you have other computers in the house and do they work ok?

The Local Area Network is a cabled connection rather than a wireless one so I don't think that's linked. Did she used to have an icon in the bottom right corner showing how strong her signal was? If she did and it says she's no longer connected then she needs to double click on it and enter in the numbers, which for my wireless were on the bottom of the wireless router.

The main hub thing which sends the signal out, so presumably the one down where you are. The one she'll have in her room is one which detects the signals. Different manufacturers will make them differently though but they'll all have a password, known as a WEP or WPA key. It might be useful digging out any relevant manuals.

Unfortunately I'm not sure - I don't have wireless where I am. Is one of them a 13 digit code? I think it's the serial code you need, but I'm not certain. The manuals should say, if you still have them.
