Appreciate a look up of the 1841 census
Charles Jones born 1819 Herefordshire


On the free parish records is a Jones family from Ledbury abode Homend with all children baptised on the same date 1819 Mother Mary father not named

Children are Mary Ann, Penelope, Sophia, John, William, Edward, Thomas

Charles not included on baptism record but on the IGI a Charles is listed for 1819 another  area with a mother Mary

Charles came to Australia  before 1848

There is a Charles Jones aged 21 occ Tailor on the 1841 for Ledbury Hereford.  However - he is shown as not born in Hereford.  He appears to be in lodgings in HOMEND Street but there is nobody else called Jones in the same household

The 1841 does not show exact birthplaces.  With a surname like Jones it would be difficult to find him if he was living in another county

Also in Homend St were the following Jones

John 25 agric labourer
Ann 25
Sarah 1

William 25 Tailor
Harriet 25

At a different address but still in Ledbury was Thomas Jones 30 occ Tailor

Nothing for Edward

I think finding any info on Charles Jones is going to be difficult but Ill keep trying
