Hi,
I'm not quite sure if I'm on the right county to ask this but just in case I am .....
Can any one give me any info on the following families?If not in theri birth villages they might be in Alwalton or Chesterton.

Adam ADAMS-born  circa 1814  Orton Waterville
Elizabeth-his wife born Orton Waterville

Matthew-son of Adam Adams-born 1833-Orton Waterville
Jane-wife-born Cowbit,Lincs

Elizabeth GRIFFIN-born 1834-Alwalton

John PLOWMAN-BORN 1789-Orton Longeville or Alwalton
Elizabeth-born Manea?

John PLOWMAN-born 1814-Alwalton
Mary-his wife-born Lutton,Northants

On the 1871 census there are 15 Adams born Orton Waterville, including Adam Adams age 75.  Have you seen this census.  If not I can send you the pages.
sorry I don't have access to the earlier ones.

Can't see the Plowmans requested (or should that be Plowmen?) in any of the 4 Hunts villages, although there are other Plowmans in both Ortons.

I haven't got either the 1851 or 1861 censuses as I don't think either has yet been released on CDrom.
