Trying to find out who lived at 306 The Glade Carshalton as we know it was a member of our family somehow but do not know who it was or how it ties in - any info appreciated

Any surname ???or surnames Huh

I have Section 19 of the Outer London - South telephone Directory for August 1965. Covers Carshalton.

Any one else reading this feel free to ask for lookup.

the surname could be either woodley or tester - maybe jack?

Sorry but that address does not feature under either surname.
If you come up with anything else come back to me..

I am not aware of a road The Glade that would be long enough to go up to 306.
Do you know where it was in Carshalton.?

does your phone book cover egham we have found the glade listed on the 1901 census best we can do - surname still woodley or tester - thanx

Hi ,Yes it does cover Egham, but still no-one under those surnames at an address The Glade.

sorry - we have just done a search on map quest and have discovered that there is a 306 The Glade at Croydon - does your book cover this area - if so could you be kind enough to see if there is a listing for the woodley/tester. Our brother always told us that they caught a train to redhill and then onto east croydon and then got bus they believed to carshalton but now we think the glade must have been in croydon - sorry to muck you about - any help much appreciated!

The Glade . for any of them.

Hi,
Carshalton joins onto Croydon via Croydon Road. They could have got of the bus at Carshalton and walked!
Did it definitely say The GLADE or could it have said the GROVE?

It was definitely the Glade that we are interested in. Everyone able to do an electorial register look up for us in that period (1960s) for Jack and Wife and child poss Michael at this address Woodley or Tester - or whoever lived at 306 The Glade.
