John Butchart - Look-up please

Looking for the birth / christening of John Butchart. Not a lot to go on, apart from it took place around 1843 (Forfar?), father was William Butchart, mother unknown. I have taken his birth year and place from later census information. He later married in 1869 in Sunderland.  Any guidance / information regarding his birth or christening is very gratefully received!

Hi Paul,

Did you get the fathers name from the marriage certificate?

On the OPR's on Scotlands People there are two John Butchart's born in Angus between 1842 and 1844.  There are 4 births between 1840 and 1845 but none with a father called William Butchart.  Did you find the family in the 1851 census?
