I am after household records of George Hempstock (b:1859- Darlton Notts) in the census' of 1891 and 1901. He appears as Hemstock in the 1901 search and living at Eckington Derbys with his wife Sarah Ann. He married Sarah Ann in 1889 so would expect to find them together in the 1891 census, also Eckington. I cannot find any trace of George in the 1881 census (maybe down to altenative spellings of the surname). He is listed in the census' of 1861 at Darlton Notts and 1871 at Torworth Notts, living with parents Joseph and Sarah.
All help very much appreciated Gregg

I see his parents had moved to Derbyshire by 1881, so here's a possible for George (indexed as Hemplock but looks like Hempstock on the actual image when you know what you're looking for)
1881 RG11/3440 fol.79 p.1 Ox Close Farm, Eckington, Derbyshire In household of farmer Charles Cadman
George Hempstock Servt unm 22 Farm Servant Indoor Dalton, Lanc

I have tried numerous variations on the surname but must admit, Hemplock is not one of them. I'm sure this could well be George in 1881. I have just tried to trace George Hemplock in other census years (for elimination purposes) and there does not seem to be anyone at all with that name. Just not too sure about the Lancs interpretation.
Many Thanks Gregg
