Eleazor Batten 1640

Hi I am trying to trace the parents of Eleazor Batten born 1640, Believed to be in Berkshire, I know he married Frances Smith.
Eleazor could also be spelt Eleazer and also seen it spelt Eleazar, I have checked the IGI but nothing for 1640.

My3x great grandfather was Eleazar Batten, son of John Batten & Charlotte Lambourn.   I have researched my Battens for the past 20 yrs, and to my knowledge
I cannot find a connection with the John & Frances West family.  They don't seem to provide any dates or place names, which strikes me as odd.  In genealogy, specifics are everything.
