1851 Census Dailly/Ballantrae Ayrshire

Hi,

I am trying to find a ANNE GILLESPIE who was born abt 1828 in Dailly.

She married John Milroy 19 November 1854 in Ballantrae.

On the 1841 census she was living in Dailly with her parents and siblings.

Her parents were John born abt 1794 and Agnes (Adams) born abt 1796 Gillespie who were both born in Ireland.

Her siblings were; Agnes born abt 1822, Charles born abt 1821 and Jean/Jane born abt 1824 who were all born in Ayr.

On the 1871 census for Ballantrae it gave her occupation as a Seamtress.

It would be wonderful if some one could find her for me.

Ann looks to be working in a large house as a general servant in 1851. Address is Kenmore House in Maryhill Lanarkshire.

Ann is showing as age 24, so born c. 1827 and born in Dailly (Darley on the index) Ayrshire.
