Can someone please help here??? I have Charles Sartin born about 1796/1800 and on the 1841 census he is with his family in Corscombe Dorset.Married to Mary Warr 1826 but family detais show Elizabeth Warr as daughter born 1824 Halstock.I believe these two villages are very close to one another and would like to find the parents of Charles?There were many Sartin families in Corscombe,so need to establish a link if possible.Charles died circa 1847 in Corsecombe.Any help appreciated.

Hi langtry,

Have you looked for information on www.dorset-opc.com?  There's quite a variety of data.....bmds, census, directories etc. but it varies from place to place.

i see these 2 baptisms in halstock to parents charles sartin and mary-
john sartin bapt 26th may 1836
isaac sartin bapt 29th july 1838
