I have received a birth certificate for alfred taylor born jan 1846 ,the address where he was born was backhouses walk english street carlisle his mam was mary taylor formerly topping father william taylor, In 1851 they were living in market hill wigton ,has anybody any Idea which parish these addresses would come under lynnej

There has to be a good chance that he's the babe on the IGI

Alfred TAYLOR bap 1 Feb 1846 Carlisle St Cuthbert, son of William and Mary.

Indeed, English Street was in St Cuthbert http://www.genuki.org.uk:8080/big/eng/CUL/Where/
