Hi
Does anyone know anything about burnets in hawick?  A relative from my stewart line in glasgow married james burnet, a draper from Hawick in 1888.  They must have stayed in Hawick because they are there in 1901 and they both die there.  I live in galashiels which is quite close to hawick, so I was quite excited to think that I might still have family there!
Does anyone have any info on this family?
