Hi to all,

I have a proven Huguenot ancestry on my HAMMELL family line but struggling to get a marriage for a snippet more info, nothing on IGI.

Peter du Hamel married Mary (maiden name k/n) sometime between 1685 and 1695. In either Gwithian where the first child was born or Gwinear where they had the remainder.

The surname of Peter could be spelt in a variety of ways usually: Hamel/Hamell (as in his Will) Hammell or Hammill. From his Will I think Mary was possibly a widow at the time of their marriage as he refers to 'her and her son' seperate to his own 4 children they share. I would love any assistance with this marriage in the hope that I can progress a little further.
