Not a problem - I don;t think it really resolved the issue.
Funny that some folk can keep lots of Pms without deleting and others can't. Also that you could, but now you can't!!

And the problem with deleting and storing locally is that, if you want to reply to someone again a few weeks from now about the same topic, you can't quote.
I think I might go on strike. Threat or promise, I hear you say

What I don't understand is that it was fine up to 99 then i had to start deleting to see the 100th.
I then did a real good purge and got my messages down to about 30. Gradually they've crept up and then I get to 59. When i get the 60th in I can't see it. And it's then not a new message - just says you have 60 messages, none are new, on page 4 
I'm on 59 now again so ......

). What I have found sometimes is that when a message goes over to the next page, you don't always see it (for some reason only the previous page appears). A refresh usually does the trick.
