What's the matter with my incoming PMs??
« on: Wednesday 24 May 06 13:21 BST (UK) »

Is anybody else having problems with incoming PMs lately?

When I receive a new PM and click on
Welcome back, Tati, you have 206 messages, 1 are new
the new PM doesn't show.

After trying several things, I have come to the conclusion that I need to delete  Sad a message in order for the new message to show.

I don't think it's because I have too many PMs in the inbox. Currently ca. 200 but everything worked fine when I had 900+ a few weeks ago.

Help please!!  Tongue

Edit: I'm sure you'll all love to read through the 7 pages of this thread but for anyone who is in a hurry, the solution is under reply #45
It may have something to do with the setting in my profile settings: (  Tongue )

Look and Layout Preferences
and then
X Show most recent personal messages at top.

Someone must know what's wrong. Why did my 100 reduce to 59 and yours to ? and Annie's to ?   Huh

Think Bob or Trystan might know the answer.

Karen  Smiley  Smiley I love this girl too. I was told (by a PM that I haven't deleted Grin ) that she's not very famous in England. Well, she IS in Germany where I grew up.

Hmm. Sorry Arranroots for starting a new thread when Tricia had said it all  Roll Eyes
