Hi Eric,
I have identified them on my tree, and have been able to add a couple of siblings to your list. in 1871 they were in Churchstoke and there was Emma, born before march 1863 and Elizabeth before march 1866. I'm still checking census returns for them, so will let you know if anything further crops up.
I've been filling in a few blanks in the tree this week... I already had the Yapps back to 1645, and have managed to attach almost all Lydbury Yapps to our family. They arrived in Lydbury 1686-1688, and all Lydbury Yapps seem to be descended from this one couple, Thomas Yapp (of Stokesay) & Kesia Tipton (Westbury).

Hi People,
I am also researcing the Yapp family but they seem to be from Tenbury rather that Ludlow. My primary interest centres around a chap called Henry Yapp who was born in 1818 in Tenbury and his wife Elizabeth. If my research is correct, he married very late in life and his wife was considerably younger than him. They had 2 sons and his wife re-married about a year after the guy's death in 1891. This is the link to my tree as she is a distant relation by her 2nd marriage. Not sure if any of these people appear in your research but would be interested to hear if they do. I am especially keen to trace the marriage whcih I think was in the 1850's.
If any one hase come across this family, any information would be appreciated.
Thanks

I have just discovered the parents of my 3x gt granny Elizabeth Yapp b 1813 Ludlow. They were Richard and Jane Yapp. As far as I can discover, there was only one other sibling, Abraham b1811 d 1812. Elizabeth married Evan Thomas James in 1836 and made her home in Presteigne. Does anyone have any idea about Richard and/or his wife Jane and whether he was born in Ludlow, or a village nearby, please?
