Do you have Harry Alberts birth cert -which will give parents names?
There are 2 Harry Bloomfields in Suffolk on 1901 census -both listed as b. 1898 Harry b. Chattisham parents Charles/Emma harry b. Norton parents William/Sarah -norton comes in Stow reg dist. and there is Albert H Bloomfield b 1898 Hadleigh parents William/Elizabeth.
I can post the full census , but need to be sure we have the correct one

Catherine Sandys, I WILL find out where you went.

There is this birth
Harry Albert BLOOMFIELD 1898 Jun qtr Stow Vol 4a Page 833
You really need to get the marriage cert to be sure of the right one. Hopefully showing fathers name.
I see you have his birthdate, do you have his birth cert?

I also think the marriage cert is necessary -it will give the names/occupations of both fathers and will save you going down the wrong path
There is a birth of Kate Elizabeth bloomfield mar qtr 1890 Stow -and 1891 Kate E Bloomfield age 1 is with parents Charles/Eliza
We will be ready and waiting to find you more information when you have the marriage cert

Hi Yogibear I can't help you with your original question, but have made contact with you as i also have the name Bloomfield in my tree. My 5 x great granddad John Rice married Mary Bloomfield in Woolpit Suffolk in 1754. They went on to have 2 children that i know of both girls Mary in about 1755 and Anne in 1757. I then think that Mary Bloomfield died as i have John Rice widower marrying again in 1770. I was wondering if you had any info on the Bloomfield family that might prove or disprove this please. Thank you William James
