could anyone give us any information on Cyril Hawes who lived at Drift near Penzance with his wife Gertrude nee Jelbert,he died about the 1930s and Gertrude later married Wilfred Guard and died about the 1957-9

I have been trying to find a marriage between Jeremiah Jelbert b 1806 Zennor who married Eliza? (they had these children in the 1841 census) Eliza, Jeremiah, Martha and Grace
I can't find the marriage but I did find these Christenings that may help with Eliza's maiden name.

Honor Martha

Helston
This could be a possible for your family as Honour Jelbart in the 1851 was 88 b c 1763 .....it doesn't give us her surname though!
Martha also seems to be a family name
