Hi
There's a Thos. Boulton christened on the 27th September  1789 at Moreton Say Shropshire England listed on the IGI [it is listed as an extracted birth or christening record for locality listed in the record]. His parents are listed as Thos. & Mary.
Give that Moreton Say is about  4 miles from Market Drayton this could be your man.

Hi again

You probably already know this but just in case the IGI also lists the marriage of Thomas Boulton to Dorothy Darlington at Market Drayton on the 16th June 1814.

thanks for that info, moreton say could be right as i think thomas had a nephew there who dorothy was staying with in a later census he was afarmer and later innkeeper of the old castle inn in bletchley so thomas must have had a brother somewhere but cant find him but this nephews mother was named mary as well but all roads to confirm thomas boultons parents just come to a dead end il keep looking in the moreton say area though so thanks again for your help doug.    emj

hi BN thanks for your kind offer and if its not too much trouble could you find out if there is a record of a Thomas and Mary Boulton married in the church at moreton say im not sure of the dates but it would have been in the 1700s or if there is a record of burial im presuming that would have been 1800s. Many thanks emj.

I do have Jennie Evelyn Boulton in my family tree. She was born in Market Drayton on 1/04/1882. She was the sister of my great grandfather. I dont have anything about George Edge Smith im afraid but it would be interesting to know anything about jennie after she married, where she lived.family etc.

Yes I think you could be right, which would make us second cousins, would it?
Henry Boulton born 1822 son of Thomas and Dorothy was my g g grandfather
and the father of Thomas Henry my g grandfather born 1851 Henry was also a publican in Market Drayton
Jinnie was a dressmaker and I believe William was  a coachbuilders apprentice
Charles Vernon sadely was killed in 1917 in France.
If there is anything in particular that you need an answer to, I will try to help.
