Alloa death/burial - ERKSINE
« on: Wednesday 23 May 07 01:31 UTC (UK) »

Does anyone have access to the burial records for Alloa? I'm looking for the death/burial of John ERSKINE which took place between 1805 (birth of daughter) and 1812 (his widow's remarriage). I don't know when he was born (his wife Margaret MURRAY) was born ca 1771.

Many thanks :-)

I'm probably stating the obvious, but I don't suppose you've checked SP? Or does that not have the records that you are looking for?

Hi JeatherL,

No, unfortunately there's no death or burial record for a John Erskine in Clackmannan in this time period.

Jan,

Is this John Erskine who, according to Family Search, married Margaret MORRAY on 11 March 1796 at Clackmannan.
