Please could some one tell me who was living at 260, high street. Lincoln. in 1891. it might have been  the family Buttery.

260 High St, Wm Buttery Tobacconist

However
1891 census (sorry, I had said 1901)
260 High St, Lincoln

All born Lincoln

High St (Not actually numbered, previous household is in 261, next one in 262)

Kate PEARSON (sis in law) 19 Dressmaker, Aisthorpe

Joseph Buttery...head...age 51...brn Lincoln...nail manufacturer

Julia Buttery..wife..age 50

Sarah Buttery..daur..age 20...milliner

Joseph Buttery..son..age 17..printers apprentice

Amelia Buttery..daur..age 15..

Kate Buttery..daur..age 13..scholar

All born lincoln and living at 260 High Street, Lincoln

I think that Geoff E looked in the 1900 directory to find out which name he should be looking for, then looked in the 1891 census for that name.
