I have been looking through the boards as I do every day and notaced very few replies in cumberland and the reason is very few records have been done in cumberland the IGI is very sparse on cumberland family's as is the BIVRI and to top it all some of the 1881 census for Scotland and cumberland were lost so unless you are able to research  the origanal documents you don't stand much of a chance
