Hi I am really stuggling to find anything for my grandfather family

All I know is:

His name was James Wallace.
Born at 5 Gaswork Lane, Whitburn, West Lothian.

On abb. birth cert : Birth district 673-1 A63663
Born 10/03/1920.

And his mothers name was Agnes (Maiden name unknown.

He married a Margaret Cunningham of Shotts, Lanarkshire.
He had other brothers and sisters : margaret, agnes, alex that i know of who were living Whitburn

He was in the army but had to leave due to ill heath

Hi Amanda,

If you order the full birth cert you should get both his parents names then you will able to trace their marriage and go back further.
