Manor Farm, Bledlow with Bledlow Ridge, Buckinghamshire - John Clarke is a farmer, with his children and servants including Henry Rogers 12 M.S. Not born in County This makes sense with Henry being born in Leighton Buzzard. HO107; Piece 40; Book: 5; Folio: 5; Page: 4

The occupation grabbed me -
High Street North, Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire William Rogers 20 Butcher No Sarah Rogers 20 Yes Elizabeth Rogers 15 No Sarah Rogers 5 Yes William Parrott 40 Gardner Yes Samuel Tomkins 15 Labourer Yes Elizabeth Birdsey 20 Milliner Yes HO107; Piece 5; Book: 21; Folio: 10; Page: 15
William and Sarah are obviously not old enough to be the parents of Elizabeth at least, although possibly of Sarah depending on the rounding of ages.

Hi Newfy, Many thanks for the census info you have given me. Could I have the entry on census for the Thomas & Elizabeth with William R Publican at Church End, Wavendon please? No brother named William but would have cousins by that name. Thomas's occ. in 1851 was a Butcher, 1861 Brewer Journeyman, 1871 & 81 Publican so a possibility. regards, Margaret.

Hi Mary A, Thank you also for the info you have given me. This is certainly Henry who is working on Manor Farm, Bledlow. MS - is this a servant do you know? The household at High St Nth, Leighton Buzzard could also be Elizabeth & Sarah included. The surname ROGERS in England are so hard to work out as it is such a common name - not so common in NZ. regards, Margaret.
