It's recorded as an adress in 1881.
Should help pinpoint it on a map if you haven't already.

Go to http://gis.durham.gov.uk/website/interMAP/viewer.htm and search for Grange Villa in the 'Town' box, if you zoom out twice you will see Twizell Dykes just to the west of Grange Villa. You can also see a number of old maps.
