Thomas SAUNDERS & Maria HUMPHREYS?

Thomas Saunders b abt 1791 Redbourn and a Maria had their first child James christened 19 April 1811 but I am unable to find a marriage for them.
On 27 Sept 1809 at the wedding of John Allcock of South Mimms and Mary Ann Humphreys otp in Redbourne I found the witnesses were Thomas Saunders and Maria Humphreys which makes me think that this is Thomas's wife to be Maria.
I have checked Parish Register for Redbourne also the Hertfordshire Marriage Index for the period.
Maria died 1832 and was buried at St Michaels St Albans, Thomas died 1860
Any help or connection would be appreciated

Hi Tony,

The Redbourn parish records show Thomas s/o John and Elizabeth Saunders was baptised on 02Dec1788.
