Hello,
I am looking for information on a William WOOD who was living Westmorland around Newby/Morland or Bolton around the 1730's. May be born around 1700 oe even earlier.

His wife is named as  MARY. I would be interested in any information on this family, especially the maiden name of MARY.

Thanks yet agin.

The fact that Mary Hebson was a widow puts a different complection on what I am trying find out. i.e. the maiden name of Mary.

Will go searching again.

Hi Deborah,
Have now found the maiden name of Mary - she was an Addison.

That fits in nicely with her or at least her husband being granted probate when her sister Elizabeth Addison,  married to James Hanson at Bolton, died in 1731.

So another little mystery cleared up.
