Hi Ady
It would help if you could include some names/family groups/ages that you are specifically looking for
There is for example a family headed by a Catherine, all showing as born in Moniefith, living in Dundee.
Regards.
Monica

Francis Tallon killed with 2 Bn Black Watch was my Grandfathers Cousin who was also a pre-War regular soldier. At that time brothers/cousins were put together in the same platoons. 2nd Black Watch had been in India when war was declared. Sadly Francis was killed in the first few weeks that the Bn went into action in France. He died in the arms of my Grandfather and his own brother, Tam Tallon.
Tom went on to work in the Hong Kong between the wars and became a PoW when the Japanese invaded.

Steiner have you any info on where your Tallons came from Ireland? My line descends from a Jarvis(Jarvice) Tallon from Ireland moved to Biggins nr Kirkby Lonsdale in the 1600s.
