Hello Somerset Rootchatters,

Can anyone help me get a handle on James PETHERAM and hopefully then find the surname of his wife Annie please.

1901 Census East Knoyle Wilts gives birthplace as Allerton, age 43.   Wife Annie aged 46.  RG13/1963 Page 2

1891 Census East Knoyle Wilts gives birthplace as Wedmore, age 34. Wife Annie aged 36. 
RG12/1627 Page 13

This may, or may or may not be him age 14
1871 Census Chapel Allerton RG10/1455 Page 17

I need to find his birth registration but can only find an Edward James PETHERAM Axbridge 1855 - 5c 539.

Hey Ricky,

Thank you so much.  That will get me started!!  I'm looking into this family for an aged aunt in New Zealand - her mother was Mary Ann Petheram, daughter of James.  She will be delighted if I can put something together for her.

I've always had a great response from the Somerset Board, so thanks again.
