Ipswich address
« on: Friday 01 June 07 20:16 UTC (UK) »

I have an old postcard with an Ipswich address, looks like "St May Elms"; I don't know if this is a street, a house, or what. Does anyone in the area have any ideas?

thanks,
Janet

St Mary at the Elms (St Mary Elms).

I was there not that long ago (couple of months) taking photographs for a researcher in Aus.
Will find the photographs and send to you.
Her mother married at the now redundant Register Office across from the church in 1956, hence my taking photos.

Also, you can read about the church on Simon's www.suffolkchurches.co.uk
