Jane Winder (d1840, Preston) was the widow of an attorney. In 1828, according to a directory, she was living at 11 Butler St. That address is now the Railway Hotel. Is it likely to be the same building, or has there been a renumbering?
She was left £600 by her husband in 1810, so I imagine her house was reasonably large.
