Monumental Inscription - Standon - SCOTT/WILKINSON/REYNOLDSON/EASTON
« on: Sunday 03 June 07 19:47 BST (UK) »

Hello,

I am looking for memorial inscriptions for this family in Standon:

Thomas Scott - died 1738 or 39
Elizabeth Scott (his wife) - died after 1741
Ann Wilkinson (Thomas' sister) - died 1757
Ann Reynoldson (Ann's daughter) - died 1792
Mary Easton (Thomas' sister) - died 1746
Charles Easton (Mary's son) - 1786
Robert Easton (Mary's son) - 1780s ish

they are all family, and lived in the same property in Standon (known as Bromley Hall, or Bromells, or Brometts).

Whatever you can find, I would be really grateful.

Hi Christine,

Sorry i have not replied in such a long time.....

Unfortunately i could not find any of those surnames in the MIs for Standon.

There have been 2 'census's' of the graveyard, one in 1905 and the other in 1995.  In 1995 some 1700s graves are still there and in 1995 some graves from 1901 are not, it is quite random as to which graves do not exist anymore...

sorry none of your family were there...
