Hello there!
I have a William Shield baptised Oakham 17 June 1745 with parents William S and Hannah. They had another William baptised 9 Mar 1741.
I am trying to find the marriage of his parents and his mother's maiden name. If someone could check the baptisms on the slim chance that another parish is mentioned I'd be grateful.
Equally, can anyone find the marriage??

Many thanks for that - that could well be them. They have children in Oakham between 1739 and 1748 so a marriage in 1728 is not out of the question.
I'll hunt around and see if they have any earlier children.
