I would be grateful for any earlier information regarding William Taylor (born c 1805 in Latheron, Caithness). He married Christina Henderson (born c 1804).

hi pal, the best i could do is

marriage of donald taylor on the 17th dec 1869 latheron.

donald age 31, son of william & christina henderson

christina sutherland, age 30 dau of john & ann forbes

children of marriage

john: born 8/9/1870
william: born 4/2/1873
donald: born 1874

all born latheron.

now it seems that there is a birth of a margaret taylor/sutherland on the 10th july 1865, she was born at upper smeral, latheronwheel, latheron.

a wee peek at the 1881 census will confirm all my friend.

Thank you for all your efforts and yes, those are the family. I'm stuck on William and Christina as at 1851 and haven't been able to trace any record of their marriage.
