Hello Geoff,
What an unusual name !! Hopefully this may make your research a little easier.
What information do you already have for your Lantern's...have you found them in the census ? What years interest you the most ?

Hi, My research on my Lintern ancestors is at present relying on James born 13/5/1851 in Ditcheat being my Gt Grandfather. If so I can hopefully trace the line back to the late 1700's in Ditcheat. Regards, Geoff.

Geoff
Just a quick note - my wife is researching the Linterns of Ditcheat too - her Gt x 3 grandmother I think.

Yes Geoff - and I've passed this on to Lorna.
I'll ask her to log-on to rootschat herself so you can talk 'Lintern-to-Lintern' - so to speak.
