NORTHCOMBE / GRIFFITHS - Somerset

Charles Edward NORTHCOMBE born ?Minehead c. 1849         married to
Ann GRIFFITH(S) born ?Dunster c. 1859

Looking for information on these two.  They seemed to have started out in Somerset and then migrated north to Toxteth in the 1880s.  I know they had gravitated back to Somerset (Milverton, Wellington area) by 1909 when their daughter Eliza SHOPLAND died after childbirth.

I am not too sure what information you may already have ? or which part you are trying to research....

I would start with trying to find the marriage of Charles and Ann Northcombe.  

As Ann is only 22 years old in 1881 census with first child a 2 month old boy I would start looking for a marriage from 1880/81 back to maybe 1879 in the St Catherines Index.

Hi,
Your surnames Northcombe and Griffiths are familiar to me.  The Minehead and Dunster parish registers are on line at genuki and both Charles Edward's and Ann Griffiths are included.  However, I could not find their marraige.
I have information on the Dunster Griffiths  as they touch my Morgan of Minehead tree through marriage of a great aunt.
If you wish I can also can put you in touch with a Minehead Northcombe who may be able to fill in some of the blanks.
