Looking for any information on the Pearce Family from the Abingdon area. My Gt Gt Grandfather was Ambrose Pearce born in the 1830s in Abingdon, son of Joseph & Charlotte Pearce.

Many thanks for getting back to me but I do have the census returns for the Pearce family. I'm looking for any information on Thomas Pearce (1762-1836) and any members before that date. I've come to a brick wall in my research, so any help would be gratefil. Smiley

Ah, in that case I can't help I'm afraid as I only have access to Ancestry. Sorry  Sad Hopefully this will have caught the eye of another Rootschatter who can help though.....

Abingdon St Helen
Ambrose appears 1824 son of Jos. and Charlotte (Radford)
Could be the Jos. born to Thomas (a bargeman) and Martha 1789
The marriage possibly Abingdon St Nicholas 1788 to Martha Green. Thomas noted from St Helen

Sorry that's where I lose track Thomas' birth doesn't appear at St Helen or St Nicholas yell out if you need specifics on the above
