Looking for Ridley Stanford born Downham, Cambridgeshire
chr 1823. He was with parents in Downham for the 1841 and 1851 census for Downham. In 1881 I found a Ridley Stanford age 55 (almost right) but gives his birth place as Sutterton, Lincolnshire. He was a boarder at the White Horse Inn, dunston, Lincoln.
Could someone check the 1871 census and see if they could find a Ridley Stanford. Thanks for all your help Anjo

Hi Anjo,
I couldn't find a Ridley Stanford or R Stanford born Cambs or Lincs, however I have had problems with incredibly bad transcriptions on the 1871 census.  Jan

thanks janan for trying can I suggest a change in surname.
Could you try Standford or Stamford. His brother and Sisters all had those variations. Thank you again for all your time and trouble. Anjo
