BUDDEN & ADAMS- NAME INTERESTS

My BUDDENS are in the Verwood,Witchampton,Horton and Woodlands areas.
I am at the brick wall stage with my Gt Gt Grandfather, John Budden who died on 23/11/1896 aged 82. Was he the son of Edmund and Ann, baptised on 5/1/1814 or George and Joanna , baptised on 25/6/1815 ?
The IGI say George and Joanna but this is not certain. Can anyone help me break down this brick wall please ?

My ADAMS are in the Sturminster Newton, Fiddleford and Poole areas.
