In the 1851 Coldingham census John Gillies, 62, Weaver Cot, born Coldingham Helen Gillies, wife, 54, born Edrom David Gillies, son, unmarried, 26, Slater, born Coldingham There are other families around the village. I can send them later if you wish. There don't seem to be many M.I's Gillies but I can also let you have what there is just to keep in case they link up sometime.
